This was done last Friday in our portrait painting group. I was intrigued by the color contrast between her sweater and the yellow-green background. oil 12 X 16 NFS

Very nice Todd. Was the yellow your choice or the background given? I like the pink reflection on her face also.
Thanks for your interest Sheila; I've been appreciating your comments on several of my paintings. The answer is that the background color int the studio where we paint our portraits is pretty similar to what I painted. Sorry for the delay in answering- I'm still learning how to maneuver around my blog. Todd
